We always enjoy taking folks from the media to our favorite dive sites. Recently Bob Friel and his group from Caribbean Travel & Life came aboard our dive boat, Mystical Lady. Diving with this group was quite an experience. We had as much fun as they did! Click link to take you to their article.

We have some terrific “out of the ordinary” and “so fun!” activities and dives planned for the occasional not-so-great-for-diving-weather. We think these dives will be just as enjoyable as any of our magnificent reef dives! So, don’t worry about the weather! We’ll get you wet anyway!
During the past several weeks we have been going on LION HUNTS! Not for the ones in the cat family but rather for Pacific Lion Fish now inhabiting the waters of Abaco. A photo of one of the several we discovered in the Sea of Abaco can be seen on our “recent photos” album page. These beautiful but potentially dangerous animals are a photographer’s delight. We hunt them only to observe, photograph, and respect their beauty.
We hope to see you at DEMA in Orlando. This year DEMA will be held November 8th through November 11th. Our entire staff from Above and Below Abaco will be there! Celebrate with us and enjoy Authentic Bahamian Rum Punch at our booth each evening at 4:30 PM. Our booth is # 1133 in the Bahamas Isle.
Above and Below Abaco’s dive boat, “Mystical Lady”, participated in “The Hunt” sponsored by Pirates of the Caribbean and Volvo. We took the 4 semi-finalists from Green Turtle Cay to Bakers Bay and then on to the Hope Town Lighthouse as they competed for the grand prize, Volvo XC 90, SUV.
